Welcome to my blog for my integrated project.

My name is Sarah. I am a Dawson student enrolled in the Art & Culture program. My program explores different kinds of art such as film, acting, drawing and writing. After I graduate, I plan on attending Cinema Makeup School in Toronto to pursue my dreams of being a film makeup artist.

Artist Statement

I am a self taught makeup artist, I love creating dramatic looks as well as creating gruesome characters. I use different kinds of makeup such as body paint, prosthetics and blood. Since a young age, I was always amazed by how movie characters were created. The moment I watched my first tutorial, I instantly knew what I wanted to pursue. I think it's fascinating how makeup can be used to enhance our natural beauty, and also be used to create ourselves into someone entirely different.
